WIA Technologies, Inc. a distributor and CCTV site design and training center is open in the Silver Spring/Wheaton area to service dealers and installers in the Washington D.C. metro area and beyond. We are the regional distributors of the StreamVision™ CCTV systems and Luxar™ cameras and lenses. We also handle Gantz™ cameras and Computar™ lenses. Our products and policies separate us from others in the industry by providing exceptional equipment and exemplary service at competitive prices. Product – StreamVision™ Digital Video CCTV Systems – High end, highly configurable and scalable systems with very high compression, low bandwidth, intuitive yet powerful interface, highly mobile, remote, secure with extraordinarily clear imagery; StreamVision™ also incorporates highly customizable interfaces to home automation, messaging and alarm systems via its Alarm Scheduler tool and R-CAD device Analogue style cameras with very high light sensitivity, high quality components, extremely reliable, wide temperature range, many styles and features; lenses are optically correct, high quality glass, not plastic, manufactured to our specifications by our business partners (link to camera spec, link to lens specs)
CCTVCAD™ is a software package that enables the complete design and 3-D modeling of any CCTV implementation before any equipment is installed or even purchased. This package images on your PC as each selected cameras would display it. Environment, lighting effects, shadows, obstructions, focus, field of view, are all displayed in a 3-D graphical rendering that enables you to optimize all camera placements and selections. This is a complete package that shows all aspects of camera placement within an area, internal, external (or both) according to the topography of the terrain or building plans. CCTVCAD™ provides significant savings in time and equipment by eliminating redundancy optimizing camera placement and determining the range of specifications necessary to meet security requirements for each view. Service – We have the strongest warranties in the industry with a swap-out and replacement policy for all of our equipment. Replacements or temporary swap-outs are guaranteed within 48 hours and can usually be accomplished within 24 hours or less depending on the location and the component. Our orders are filled quickly and can be shipped directly to you. As an added service we are able to assist with site planning and design for optimal camera selection and placement via our in-house use of Visual CAD CCTV software tools. In addition we are available to perform special customizations to integrate alarm systems, messaging and home automation into the mix of our highly sophisticated DVR systems. Training – All dealers and installers receive complete
training
on all of our equipment. Manuals are
provided and any additional coaching can be handled impromptu or
through our
online teaching service. Dealer
training for the products we sell is gratis with the exception of the
advanced
classes in Visual CAD systems design.
While the Visual CAD introductory classes are free, the
advanced classes
are intensive and cover a longer period of in-class and project
development
time and are a paid service. Policy – We have the strongest warrantee policy in the
industry
with 3/5 year replacement warranties on the DVRs, 2 years on (all)
cameras, 5
years on lenses and lifetime warranties on power supplies.
We have a commitment to supporting our
customers year-round with free software upgrades for the DVRs as they
become
available. Our swap-out and replacement
policy prevents our customers from suffering long interruptions in
service
while waiting for units to be repaired.
Clients are also freely downloadable and easily installed
on virtually
any Windows system including PDA running Windows Mobile OS. Support— WIAtech will go the extra mile to solve any
problem you
may encounter, make recommendations and assist with your site planning
and
implementation. We have a highly
skilled technical staff that is available 9:00 AM ET to 8:00 PM ET. Off hour consultation and support can also
be provided through special arrangement.
All of our customers are thoroughly trained on the
equipment we sell. Partnerships— WIAtech, Inc. is offering a structured partnership plan to CCTV systems dealers and installers. As a local business we are partnering with other area establishments in order to provide substantial discounts and enhanced services. Our tiered approach offers three distinct levels of membership that defines price structure, levels of support and training.
